Washington Parks and Recreation was awarded a grant from the Sea Tow Foundation for a free Life Jacket Loaner Program on Lake Waramaug. The goal is to enable boaters, or anyone at the town beaches of Washington, Kent, Warren or the State Park that may need a life jacket to come to the Washington boat ramp and borrow a one for the day and return it. There will be child, youth and adult life jackets available. Those who would like to donate a lightly used or new life jacket to the program can drop it off at the Town of Washington boat ramp.
