SOUTHBURY — Femina Melodia, a women’s a cappella group, founded and directed by Jan Gregory, will offer its annual Spring Concert, presented by B’nai Israel at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 19 at the synagogue, 444 Main St. N. Ms. Gregory said she had always dreamed of directing a women’s a cappella group. In the summer of 2001, she gathered a group of nine women who rehearsed all summer and gave a concert for family and friends in September. From that, Femina Melodia quickly grew to the 20 singers who will present the May concert.
