HARTFORD — Gov. Ned Lamont today announced the approval of a 12-month pilot program launching at UConn Health’s Child Care Center building in Farmington that will involve the deploying of an innovative new technology developed by the Shelton-based company Budderfly to assist in helping the healthcare system and hospital achieve a net zero carbon footprint and deliver a substantial energy cost savings.

SOUTHBURY — The United Church of Christ is hosting a youth social club called “The Hive” from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday at 283 North Main St. The Hive is an after-school program for middle and high schoolers interested in a “third place” they can hangout after-school to socialize, do homework and have a safe place to connect with others.
